I don't even know if it would be possible, but is there any way to create a system to send an instant message to a member you see is online (using a link in the forum, rather than MSM, AIM, etc.)?  If not, have you considered a chatbox?

Hey guys,

I've gotten quite a few PMs about this so it appears a chatroom is in high demand. Going to try to make this place the best silent hill forum around, so I will look into this. Smiley
