Big news in the Silent Hill Homecoming World!
Amazon.com has just announced that Silent Hill Homecoming for PS3 and Xbox360 is now available for preorder! The game is slated for a September 30th, 2008 release date and will carry a price tag of $59.99.
Preorder the game now and Amazon will ship it the same day it is released. Be among the first to play Silent Hill Homecoming! We love that new game smell, don’t you?

Video game retail chain Gamestop have posted the boxart for Silent Hill Homecoming on their website. As of now, this is the official boxart for SHH’s PS3 and Xbox360 release. As always, stay tuned for the latest Silent Hill Homecoming news, screenshots, and more!

Video game website Gamersyde.com just posted 2 new amazing Silent Hill Homecoming gameplay videos (link at bottom)!
The first video is 10 minutes long and takes place in Alchemilla Hospital. After all, what would Silent Hill be without Alchemilla? It’s pretty much grown to become a staple in the series. You’ll get to watch Alex explore the hospital and battle some creepy monsters. As usual, the new footage looks incredible. From what we’ve been told, this is PS3 gameplay footage. This video also contains the full intro to one of the first parts of the game, so if you don’t want to be spoiled for the game’s release - don’t watch this video. You’ve been warned.
The second video clocks in at about 4 minutes and takes place in the cemetary - complete with skinned dogs. You can definitely tell this is going to be one fun level to play, as the design and textures look very well thought out.
